With Payable Forms there are many opportunities to customize the language and aesthetic of your form and checkout to apply your own flair.
With this post we’ll show you how easy it is to tailor your Payable Google Form to your needs, to maintain your brand identity and connect with your customers on a more personal level.
Themes
With Google Forms you can change the appearance of your form with the header image, colour palette, and fonts. Just click the palette icon in the Google Forms toolbar to get started. In the Theme section you can set the font styles and sizes of your header (title), questions, and text. For the Header Image you can choose from Google’s large library of free images that span many themes, events, photos, and artful illustrations.

Tailoring Payable Messaging
With Payable Forms you can customize various messages your customer sees throughout the submission to payment process.
Submission Confirmation Message
When a customer submits your form they will next land on the Google Form submission confirmation page – this step cannot be removed from the form flow, but you can customize the messaging your customers see. We automatically insert the dynamic checkout link into this field so that your customers can transition to their checkout page, and you can add to this field with any additional copy you want users to see before reaching checkout. Some Payable users will simply change the verbiage of the message we insert directing customers to click the link to continue to checkout, while others may reiterate specific payment instructions they need to communicate.
Email Order Confirmation
When your form is submit we immediately email the customer a summary of their order and the link to their Payable invoice – you can customize the content of this email message with text specific to your product and brand. This component can tie in our Advanced Email Capabilities, with this Payable Setting enabled your customer-facing Payable emails will be upgraded from the simple HTML styling of our classic email, and will incorporate your header image and invoice details.
Post-Payment Message
When an order is paid you have the opportunity to display a special message directly on the customer’s invoice. This can be a link to a downloadable product or online course, a password to a protected website or file, or a special thank you to your customer.
