What is Payable Forms?
Payable Forms is a Google Forms add-on that adds a powerful payment gateway to your form, enabling you to turn a simple Google Form into an e-commerce platform. Customers fill out your form, choose menu items, and then Payable calculates the total and sends them to a secure checkout page to pay.
Your connected Google Sheet logs all of your order details and tracks your payments, saving you from sending out invoices and chasing payments.
How to Set It Up
1. Create Your Google Form
- Go to Google Forms → click Blank Form
- Add a title like: Thanksgiving Dinner Order Form
- Write a short description: “Place your Thanksgiving dinner order and pay online to reserve your meal.”
2. Build Your Order Form
Create form questions to collect customer information, order details (pick-up or delivery), and your menu items. Payable amounts should go in response fields for the customer to choose from.
3. Install the Payable Forms Add-On
Install the Payable Forms add-on directly from Google Marketplace, then go back to your form and:
- Click the puzzle piece icon (Add-ons) → Payable Forms → Make This Form Payable to initiate setup
- Auto-Configure Form and Sheet, Sync Theme, and Connect a Payment Provider
- Then, you’re ready to toggle the form On as Payable
4. Test & Share
- Submit a test order to make sure everything works
- Copy the shareable URL and share it on your website, social media, or in emails
Done—customers can now place their Thanksgiving order and pay instantly.

- Keep it short — only ask what you need.
- Use sections — menu in one section, customer info in the next.
- Make required fields required — prevents missing info.
